I am a Registered Podiatrist, registered with the Health Professional Council( number CH12061). I have completed three years full time study at the London Foot Hospital, qualifying in 1993 with a diploma in Podiatric medicine.
I can diagnose and treat most foot problems!
These include:
Routine chiropody
Diabetic foot assessment
Nail cutting
Biomechanical assessment and the issue of orthotics for adults and children
Foot pain in children
Treatment of verrucas
I have worked in the NHS and I have been established in Private Practice since 1994.
I have now passed my prescribing exam which allows me to supply and administer certain prescription only drugs and this will be of great benefit to all my customers should a problem present. This is part of my masters degree in Podiatry.
I can provide Pedique Cosmetic nails (visit picture gallery), which have proved to be a great success and I am the only Podiatrist in the area providing this modern technique for the correction of damaged and unsightly nails, also suitable as an overlay for normal nails.
I have just completed the course in Low Level Laser Therapy and will be introducing this into the clinic in the near future; Will be used for the treatment of Plantar Fascitis, Achilles Tendonitis, Mortons Neuroma, Verruccas, Pain relief and will be piloting the treatment of fungal nails.
